 Carolina is 28 years old. She is married with a 4 month old daughter and 5 year old son. She and her
family have never seen the beach. Her request was to watch the sun set over the water. She also requested a family
portrait. Thanks to our friends at Holiday Inn Corpus Christi, we had her trip lined up and ready to go. Unfortunately,
due to her health declining, Carolina could not make the trip. However, we were able to fulfill her other wish, a family
portrait. Thanks to our friends at Grandinetti Photography in San Marcos, Carolina's wish to have a portrait taken with her family was fulfilled.
Carolina passed away two days after this photograph was taken with her family.
A patient helping to take care of her grandchildren said she didn't need
anything for herself, but she wanted to make sure her grandchildren were prepared for the first day of school.
She asked us to help get clothes for them. We were able to fulfill this dream. The children were so
excited when they got their new clothes for school. Grandma's dream was fulfilled and she was very, very grateful.
This particular patient asked for a very special dream. However, it wasn't
for him. It was for his daughter, who had been caring for him for many years. She never complained and she never
left his side. But he could tell she was worn out and too afraid to say anything in fear she would hurt his feelings.
His request was to send his daughter to a bed and breakfast for a weekend to relax alone and quietly. Thanks to our
friends at Inn Above Onion Creek in Kyle, he got his dream request. His daughter was able to stay two nights
in a lovely private room where she was able to rest, read her books, and for once, someone cooked for her!

 Ben is a 28 year old patient residing in a nursing home. He made a special request for a
laptop and pizza party. Through Dream A Dream, CTMC Hospice Care was able to fulfill Ben's dream request.

A very dear
patient could not get up out of his bed to walk on his farm like he use to do every morning. When we saw this patient
declining, we fulfilled his dream by getting him a motor scooter. This lifted his spirits a lot. He was very grateful
because this scooter allowed for him to get to his pasture to see his cows walking in.
